FACE TO FACE WITH FRONTIERS IN SCIENCE

Swadeshi Science Movement (SSM) is a popular Science Movement, which devote to the promotion and popularisation of Science and Technology with particular emphasis on Indian Contribution. SSM organises several activities for the promotion of age - old socio scientific value based systems blended with modern methodology which aim to achieve the National Self Reliance.  It has been bestowed with two prestigious National Awards by Govt. of India during the last two years viz. National Award for Outstanding efforts in Science and Technology Communication (2006-07) by Ministry of Science and Technology and Jawaharlal Nehru Prize (2005-06) for Science Popularisation by Hon’ble Prime Minister. 

SSM is organising a workshop for the students of standard 8 to 12 “Face to Face with Frontiers in Science” during 12-16 May 2008 at Sree Varaham Vanitha Samithi Hall, East Fort, Thiruvananthapuram. 50-60 students will be participating in this workshop. You may register in advance by submitting the registration form along with an amount of Rs.500/. Food will be served at the venue.
