Release of the Proceedings of the 21st Swadeshi Science Congress

The release of the proceedings of the 21st SSC took place at the Cashew Export Promotion Council (CEPC) Laboratory and Technical Division, Cashew Bhavan, Kollam on January 31, 2012. The meeting which commenced at 11.30 a.m. was presided over by the CEPC Chairman, Sri. Harikrishnan R. Nair. Dr V.P. Potty, the Chairman of the 21st SSC, welcomed the guests. The hard and soft copy of the proceedings was released by Sri. Nair and the first hard copy was received by Dr Mohan Nair P. , Managing Director, Nair’s Hospital, Kollam. Dr Panicker, former Head, Dept of Botany, SN College, Kollam received the first soft copy. Dr Mary Teresa Miranda, Secretary General of the Congress presented a brief overview of the 21st SSC. As a token of appreciation and gratitude, a memento was presented to Dr Potty by the Secretary of the Swadeshi Science Movement, Dr N.G.K. Pillai. Certificates of appreciation were also given to all the members of the organizing committee. Dr N.G.K. Pillai formally proposed the vote of thanks and the meeting concluded at 12.45 p.m. with lunch.
