Vagbhata Sarani, Ayurvedic Faculty of Ayurvedic Sciences and Research, Swadeshi Science Movement, (Kerala) a unit of the National Organisation - Vijnana Bharati have Organised 10 Sasthra Madhanams & 3 Ashtanga Hridaya Satrams, Seminars, Workshops, Exhibition, World Ayurveda congress for the propagation & popularisation of Ayurveda. Vaghbata Sarani also conducts Sadhyaya Sangamams.

This year Sasthra Madhanam-2008 is conducting a 3 days workshop with Special Focus on Prameha and Allied Diseases. The World Health Organisation have warned that ‘Prameha’ will be one of the severe diseases in the coming decades. We have to go in depth to find cause and cure for the killer disease.

Yoga Demonstration at Medows 
There will be an exhibition of rare medicinal plants of Idukki and Kottayam districts especially from the forest.  Product information stalls from major institutions will be there.

For registration
Practitioners Rs.900, Students Rs.750 (includes food, dormitory type accommodation, Prakrithi Darsan Yathra). Number of Participants are limited to 200 only. (First come first basis). Special accommodation will be arranged at their own expense.
